Pulled from the warehouse and up for sale is a 1968 Marcelino Barbero Classical Guitar. 
This is an incredible piece of guitar history as it has a direct lineage to Guitars of Spain and the famous Sherry- Brener LTD, which opened in 1953 in Chicago. 
This piece was imported by the company to Chicago. 
The original bill of sale from 1971 remains with the guitar and the original booklet with signatures. 
The guitar itself is made from Black Palosanto wood for the back and sides and Spanish Pine for the top. In 1971 it sold for $685!
The guitar is in very good condition overall. The back and sides are clean, with no noticeable wear or scratches. 
The top of the guitar does show two raised cracks on the finish; however, they do not go through the wood at all and have no effect on the tone or playability.
The guitar comes with its original case, along with the original bill of sale, booklet and price guide.
